Since the tragic timely death of the late Mac Miller, the world of hip-hop and fans who loved his music have greatly missed him. Well, it has been widely speculated that the artist was about 65% done with an album before he passed. On January 17th 2020, Mac’s family decided to release his 6th and final album under the title “Circles”.
The family of Mac Miller announced the album last week and shared a new song, “Good News” on that Friday.
Miller’s new album is meant to be a follow-up album to his 2018’s Grammy-nominated “Swimming.” Miller worked with Jon Brion on the album “Swimming” and had been working with him on “Circles” at the time of his death in September 2018.
His newest album “Circles” features live instrumentation along with Miller’s usual catchy singing and rapping.
The late musician’s family posted on his Instagram page the following about his new music.
Not only will the album’s release feature new music, but there will also be 3 fan pop-up exhibitions in celebration. The pop-up’s will be in Los Angeles, New York and Pittsburgh and will feature listenings of “Circles,” as well as a multimedia art exhibition.
